Release Date: Fall with Me - Jennifer L. Armentrout (With You #4)

One of the greatest days of the year is finally here.

Fall With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout is finally out. It came to my kindle at 11:53pm. So it came a little earlier.
Published Date: March 31, 2015
Genre: New Adult/Romance
Synopsis: Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

I am in love with this story so far. I just started the book and Roxy and Reece's relationship already makes me laugh to the point where I look like a crazy person on the train.

I also just finished Trust in Me, a novella by Jennifer L Armentrout which presents the point of view of Cam. It shows Cam and Avery's relationship into a deeper meaning. How truly romantic are these books because it makes so jealous of these characters.
Published Date: October 22, 2013
Genre: New Adult/Romance
Synopsis: From the NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of WAIT FOR YOU, this is the story of Cam and Avery’s sizzling romance as you’ve never seen it before, told exclusively from Cam’s perspective…

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up – he can’t get this feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. What will it take to help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery’s life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

Also just another update:

Twist - Karen Akins is finally coming out in SIX more days! So excited to read more about Bree Bennis.

Fall With Me
by
Jennifer L. Armentrout

I know that I have been neglecting my blog but with good reason. I didn't want to give this review because it makes things so final. This book has been an amazing companion throughout the three days. Reece Anders knows how to make your hormones go a little crazy. Roxy, a bartender that has been working full time, goes to school for her best friend Charlie, and is an artist.

If only every life was something like these series of books, things would be good. I could get used to the life of hot guys roaming around college campus because my college definitely doesn't have that. I wish it did but we weren't all blessed.

Now this book is definitely a thriller, well I guess suspenseful is the best way to explain this because there is something so unpredictable in this that it will make you want to bang your head against the wall a good few times. However, I guess since all of these books have had something where it could happen to anyone around you, it should have been predictable.

Anyways, I do recommend reading this book because it is a romance novel with a hint of thrilling and yet suspenseful story plot.

Also, because this is my last time, most likely, writing about this because most of my blog is filled with it. I just got my book in the mail and my goodness! It was one of the most beautiful present that I got. Even if I got it for myself and it was an early birthday present and Jennifer L. Armentrout herself autographed it so THANK YOU!

Next book, on my to-review list is either Twist - Karen Akins or Obsidian - Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Thanks for reading this post and don't forget to follow me which you can do by clicking that follow button on the side bar on the right column! Have a good night!

I rate this book a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

The Longest Ride - Nicholas Sparks

Published Date: September 17, 2013
Genre: Romance
Synopsis:
Ira Levinson is in trouble. At ninety-one years old, in poor health and alone in the world, he finds himself stranded on an isolated embankment after a car crash. Suffering multiple injuries, he struggles to retain consciousness until a blurry image materializes and comes into focus beside him: his beloved wife Ruth, who passed away nine years ago. Urging him to hang on, she forces him to remain alert by recounting the stories of their lifetime together – how they met, the precious paintings they collected together, the dark days of WWII and its effect on them and their families. Ira knows that Ruth can’t possibly be in the car with him, but he clings to her words and his memories, reliving the sorrows and everyday joys that defined their marriage.

A few miles away, at a local rodeo, a Wake Forest College senior’s life is about to change. Recovering from a recent break-up, Sophia Danko meets a young cowboy named Luke, who bears little resemblance to the privileged frat boys she has encountered at school. Through Luke, Sophia is introduced to a world in which the stakes of survival and success, ruin and reward -- even life and death – loom large in everyday life. As she and Luke fall in love, Sophia finds herself imagining a future far removed from her plans -- a future that Luke has the power to rewrite . . . if the secret he’s keeping doesn’t destroy it first.

Ira and Ruth. Sophia and Luke. Two couples who have little in common, and who are separated by years and experience. Yet their lives will converge with unexpected poignancy, reminding us all that even the most difficult decisions can yield extraordinary journeys: beyond despair, beyond death, to the farthest reaches of the human heart.

Let me just say that I was crying throughout this entire book. Yeah there were points where it made me laugh but I was in tears for most of the time. The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks is an amazing novel where he incorporates two tragic love stories spun together by the wheel of fate. Do I recommend reading this for those in need of a good romance book? Yeah, because this book is one of those that you will cherish throughout the times.

I am kind of iffy about the movie due to the fact that in the trailer itself, they have a couple parts wrong already and it is a big pet peeve of mine when they go off from the book.

Nicholas Sparks has done it again by creating a romantically tragic story that will have you reading this from the beginning one more time.

I rate this a good 4 out of 5 stars.

Insurgent (Movie Review)

So I came back from watching Insurgent and I have to say that I am pretty disappointed in the creation of this movie.
Release Date: March 11, 2015
Genre: Teen Dystopian/Action
Synopsis:
Now on the run from Jeanine (Kate Winslet) and the rest of the power-hungry Erudites, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) search for allies and answers in the ruins of Chicago. They must find out whatTris' family sacrificed their lives to protect and why the Erudites will do anything to stop them. Side by side, Tris and Four face one seemingly insurmountable challenge after another, as they unravel the secrets of the past and -- ultimately -- the future of their world.

Okay, so disappointment sounds a little harsh but after reading the book and watching the movie, I just felt like they changed the whole movie plot. So I guess I felt irritated.

No spoilers but hopefully, I am not the only one out there that felt the same.

I feel that if the director, script maker, and author could all work together, the movie would have turned out fantastic.

I asked some family members as to what they thought of the movie and I will let you know now, that they did not read the books. They enjoyed the movie and were really into it.

There were parts that I may say that made me laugh and they got right but in all honesty, would I watch it again, probably not. But then again, I have a weird obsession where I cannot have any imcompletes among my extensive books/movie collections or it drive me insane and considering I already have the first movie, I'll need the second too.

I felt a little evil after explaining to my family why I didn't enjoy the movie and I would rather get back my money for it which made them get irritated by the movie. So... yeah...

Anyways, I think that I would recommend this to people who have not read the series or else you will get a slight irritation.

I rate this a 2 out of 5 stars.

But the trailers were good!

Fast and Furious 7

The Age of Adeline
The Longest Ride
Pitch Perfect 2
MAX

and there's a supposedly scary movie coming out but I forgot the name already. I usually anticipate them too.

Update:

So the other movie that I am excited about is Pixels. I thought the trailer for that was funny. I will post that later.

Also the scary movie is called, Before I Wake.

Of Poseidon - Anna Banks (The Syrena Legacy #1)

Published Date: May 22, 2012
Genre: Fantasy/Young Adult
I just want to point out how much I love the cover art for this book alone. As you read further into this fantastic novel, you'll find out why the art is like this. I don't know about you but I jump around as soon as I see the resemblance between the words in the book and the cover art.

Synopsis:

Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom...

Told from both Emma and Galen's points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance.

I just want to laugh at the fact that last part of the synopsis: "...waves of romance" (Anna Banks) because I mean come on, once you read this, you'll automatically get what I mean by this.

Galen and Emma have a blooming and yet swoon worthy romance that you'll be jealous of automatically. If I could meet an attractive man just like Galen just how Emma did and get away with it to have an epic romance, then yes, I would give up my life just to do so.

Anyways, I rate this book a 5 stars out of 5 and ready to review the next novel, Of Triton

Twist - Karen Akins (Loop #2)

Release Date Changed!

So till recently, it was supposed to be released on March 31, 2015... Which had me really psyched for the end of the month but now... I don't know what I feel... Anger? Upset? But I guess they haven't cancelled the book all in total so it's no big deal.

The new release date is April 7, 2015 so mark it on your calendars!

This is an amazing series so far if you like the futuristic stuff for you. Lots of YA and very sci-fi!

Bree Bennis has it all!

Release Date: April 7, 2015
Genre: Teen Dystopian/Young Adult

Synopsis:
The unbelievably thrilling sequel to the time-travel YA novel Loop.

Bree Bennis finally has it all—a non-comatose mother, an uber-hot (albeit anachronistic) boyfriend named Finn, and a newfound mission to protect the timeline from those who would skew it for their own gain. But when she leans over one day to smooch said boyfriend, her lips meet those of her arch-nemesis Wyck instead. The timeline has been altered, and Bree is caught in the crosshairs. But when she goes back to repair the damage, she is stopped by none other than her Future Self, who delivers an urgent message: Someone is kidnapping Shifters from the distant past. It’s up to Bree to stop them. But first, she has to figure out who…and why.

To follow the trail of chronocrumbs, Bree reluctantly accepts her new undercover gig as Wyck’s girlfriend. Everything goes spiffy until Finn shows up in the 23rd century on the eager arm of a gorgeous fellow Shifter. Blark. Even as Bree struggles with jealousy, she battles the nagging dread that Finn might be better off with someone less chronologically complicated. Her worst fear is confirmed when Finn becomes the kidnapper’s next victim. As Bree zeroes in on the culprit, they unravel her life one timeline-change at a time. She realizes that she alone has the power to save herself and everyone she loves. But to do that, she may lose Finn forever.

WHAT?! THE!? BLARK!? JUST?! HAPPENED?!

It's a race against time to save the ones that you love. Will Bree Bennis make it or will she fail and live as an Unchipped Shifter who is the only one who can tell when a NeoShifter has made a change to the past.

I loved this book but I am sad to say goodbye to a great series. Bree Bennis and Finn are the ultimate power couple. Honest.

I rate this book a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Questions to be answered:
Did Future Bree change the timeline on purpose?
Who is this gorgeous shifter on the arm of her Finnigan?
Will this gorgeous shifter turn out to be the kidnapper?
What will come of next of Finnree?! (Yes my book couple name for them is uber cheesy)
Will Bree and Wyck end up together in the future?

Pawn - Aimée Carter (The Blackcoat Rebellion #1)

Look at this cover art!
Published Date: November 26, 2013
Genre: Teen Dystopian
Synopsis:

YOU CAN BE A VII. IF YOU GIVE UP EVERYTHING.

For Kitty Doe, it seems like an easy choice. She can either spend her life as a III in misery, looked down upon by the higher ranks and forced to leave the people she loves, or she can become a VII and join the most powerful family in the country.

If she says yes, Kitty will be Masked—surgically transformed into Lila Hart, the Prime Minister's niece, who died under mysterious circumstances. As a member of the Hart family, she will be famous. She will be adored. And for the first time, she will matter.

There's only one catch. She must also stop the rebellion that Lila secretly fostered, the same one that got her killed …and one Kitty believes in. Faced with threats, conspiracies and a life that's not her own, she must decide which path to choose—and learn how to become more than a pawn in a twisted game she's only beginning to understand.

Are you going to let a number define you?

I found Aimee Carter in the library by my home.

Not literally but she was a new author coming-out and so they showcased her book, The Goddess Test. It took forever for the books to come out [Not really but it did feel like it when it didn't come out within the year].

So since I was waiting for the rest of the series to come out, I looked up her name at http://www.goodreads.com , I found another series by her, known as The Blackcoat Rebellion. It does sound weird but it was strangely a good book.

But horrible little me forgot about the series and got sucked into the other books that were coming out.

The first book was known as Pawn. I believe that there was another name for it but it changed to the final one, 'Pawn' but I can't say for sure.

I rate this book a good 3 out of 5 stars.

Shadows - Jennifer. L. Armentrout (Lux #.5)

Published Date: February 21, 2012
Genre: Sci-Fi/Young Adult
Synopsis: The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.
DANGEROUS. TEMPTING. UNDENIABLE.
CAPTIVATED. LURED. LOVED.

Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.
Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence…and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
Okay considering the fact that I was not going to read this book at all was just insane.

I did read the Lux series before I read the novella or prequel. Okay so I knew what was going to happen but I did get a better insight on everyone while Dawson was there with them. However, Jennifer L. Armentrout's POV for this really confused me. I understood the whole going back and forth thing with Bethany and Dawson but then she inserted Daemon (His twin brother's POV into it) so that did not really make sense until the end.

I was heart broken when I read this.

I knew what was going to happen but not how to happened. Okay, I am totally going off on a tangent. It was hard not to guess what was going to happen next considered I knew the future for these characters. That just sounds like Ms. Crazy Pants.

Not something I want to be known for.

However, it does make me want to divulge myself into these novels again now that I know the beginning of Daemon's brooding character.

As if he wouldn't fall for a human girl. So cliché. But so good. I can't argue with that. No one can't argue with that.

Arum suck donkey balls.

Okay, tell me this. I know they said that the Arum are nothing like the Luxen. But what if, just what if, the Arum are just Luxen who turn dark. It is a weird concept and in my head, I get it.

I wish you guys could understand my logic here.

Anyways, I would definitely recommend reading this and the rest of the series. I rate this book a solid 3 out of 5 stars.
