Release Date: Forever with You - Jennifer L. Armentrout (With You #5)

Published Date: September 29, 2015
Genre: New Adult/Romance
Synopsis: In the irresistibly sexy series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout, two free spirits find their lives changed by a one-night stand…

Some things you just believe in, even if you've never experienced them. For Stephanie, that list includes love. It's out there. Somewhere. Eventually. Meanwhile she's got her job at the mixed martial arts training center and hot flings with gorgeous, temporary guys like Nick. Then a secret brings them closer, opening Steph's eyes to a future she never knew she wanted—until tragedy rips it away.

Nick's self-assured surface shields a past no one needs to know about. His mind-blowing connection with Steph changes all that. As fast as he's knocking down the walls that have kept him commitment-free, she's building them up again, determined to keep the hurt—and Nick—out. But he can't walk away. Not when she's the only one who's ever made him wish for forever . . .

Happy Book Birthday to the awesome Jennifer L. Armentrout and to her fifth book of the With You saga. Book boyfriends at every turn with each of her books and you even end up loving the female characters because they are the definition of strong!

I know it doesn't come out for a while but I am anticipating Fire in You as well. But for now, I ordered Forever with You on both Kindle and paperback so we will see how this book turns out. I have high hopes for Steph and Nick considering they are one and the same.

But, my review will have to wait until I can finish and update this, awesome book nerds. Trust me... The suspense is killing me as well.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

I finished Forever with You and found myself sniffling in bed. This is one of the most heart-breaking yet mending stories that I have read.

Now, let's be honest. I am going to warn you... Ovaries will explode, hearts will break, but love will prevail.

As aforementioned, my heart was broken when I read about Stephanie going through all of the mixed emotions but Nick wouldn't let her be and go through it alone. There was the spark of love.

But there isn't just romantics of relationships but there are those of familial and friendships. Although, Stephanie was new to town, she was immediately enveloped in the loving embrace of Avery and her friends. Mainly Roxy and Katie.

Through this book, you will be led through the stages of grief. Denial, anger, depression, bargaining, and finally, acceptance. She was able to go through this with the help of those around her. No one should be left alone in this type of situation and thankfully, she came around to just accepting that her friends were going to annoy the hell out of her until she was able to cope.

Stephanie seems to always assume things and they are always the worst. Rumors spread about her since she was in high school and hasn't been in a serious relationship since. Nick, not since college.

I loved this to beyond. Give this your time of day and read this. Maybe the entire series.

Release Date: A Mad Zombie Party - Gena Showalter (The White Rabbit Chronicles #4)

Published Date: September 29, 2015
Genre: Young Adult/Paranormal
Synopsis: The battle rages on.

Ali Bell and Cole Holland's crew of zombie slayers thought they'd won the war against Anima Industries, the evil company responsible for capturing and experimenting on zombies in an effort to discover the secret to immortality. In the last epic clash, the slayers lost many of their crew and closest friends. But Frosty, the ice man himself, has not recovered from one casualty in particular—the love of his life, Kat Parker.

On the path to self-annihilation, Frosty receives a message from beyond—Kat's spirit returns, insisting he partner with rogue slayer Camilla Marks. Frosty will do anything for Kat. Except that. Camilla is the one who betrayed them all, leading to Kat's death.

But when Anima rises from the grave to become a force the slayers may not have the strength to overcome, Frosty, Camilla and all the slayers will have to work together to survive. And one broken slayer will learn that sometimes, the line between hate and attraction is blurred…and the road to redemption isn't through revenge, but in letting go of the past and grabbing hold of the future.

Happy Book Birthday to the amazing and talented Gena Showalter and A Mad Zombie Party because I mean, come on. If you haven't added these books onto your TBR list, you are missing out.

I just want to dance around with my Kindle and this book until I get the hardcover next week. I am so excited to read this book and I cannot wait to share my thoughts on it. Hopefully, I will not be too disappointed because usually the final books are heart-breaking and I want to hold on and beg the author to never end the series.

It's a happy day yet a sad day... Hopefully Gena Showalter turns this into more books... But we will have to see.

I will be back to update you guys on the review. You guys are awesome book nerds and don't you forget that!

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

It's in Frosty's POV and as well as Camilla's. Oh, even if Camilla is trying to redeem herself, she is the one who killed Kat and broke Frosty's heart. "Sugar tush" by booty.

Honestly though, this book is making me giggle and gasp and giggle again.

I am only half way though the book but I love every second of it and gobbling it up. Hopefully my package from Gena Showalter comes soon and I will be wearing cute little rabbit earrings because who doesn't want that. Now I think I am going to go ahead and be safe and rate this a good 4.5 out of 5 stars because it's Gena Showalter, people. Get your heads screwed on straight.

Now I only took of .5 stars because I mean... The Barnes and Noble edition has a special little wedding scene and I want it but I am getting my book tomorrow so it would be kind of pointless to try to return it and get a more expensive one.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds and I will be back soon with some more reviews to shower you with.

The Queen of Zombie Hearts - Gena Showalter (The White Rabbit Chronicles #3)

Published Date: September 30, 2014
Genre: Young Adult/Paranormal

Synopsis: I have a plan.

We'll either destroy them for good, or they'll destroy us.

Either way, only one of us is walking away.

In the stunning conclusion to the wildly popular White Rabbit Chronicles, Alice "Ali" Bell thinks the worst is behind her. She's ready to take the next step with boyfriend Cole Holland, the leader of the zombie slayers…until Anima Industries, the agency controlling the zombies, launches a sneak attack, killing four of her friends. It's then she realizes that humans can be more dangerous than monsters…and the worst has only begun.

As the surviving slayers prepare for war, Ali discovers she, too, can control the zombies…and she isn't the girl she thought she was. She's connected to the woman responsible for killing—and turning—Cole's mother. How can their relationship endure? As secrets come to light, and more slayers are taken or killed, Ali will fight harder than ever to bring down Anima—even sacrificing her own life for those she loves.

Anima... You can suck my a$$ and Ali's too and all the goddamn slayers because you are an evil, no-good doing, company that makes me want to scream my head off. Which I won't but not because I don't want to but because I am in class or work.

What kind of a name is Anima anyways? Could they not have created a better name? I tried saying Anima in my best evil-ish voice that usually turns out with a hint of demon... But hey. I imagine a goddamn bald guy with a long beard in a swivel chair, holding a white fluffy cat, stroking it and turning saying, "Vellll-come... I have veen vaiting for you, my darlings." Like come on... I can't even deal with the name.

Anyways. My review and enough of the ranting. For now.

Finally! Cole and Alice break their sexual tension after going back and forth about it. I mean, yeah, it's a hard decision but not that hard.

After ZA was destroyed, they have a bigger problem on their hands. Someone is killing their friends and using them in zombie attacks against them. The heartbreaking thing is that they have to killed all over again. No one should have to go through that pain.

Now... I am going to rate this a good 4.5 out of 5 stars and only a .5 off because I mean, there were some parts that made me want to cringe but there were moments of kicking ass and "AWEEEEE".

Cole is just drool-worthy and everyone should have a Cole in their lives... Or an Alice. However you roll.

Go ahead and put this on your TBR list. You will not be disappointed. Onward, my awesome book nerds, and let Gena Showalter's, A Mad Zombie Party be released! Woohoo!

Blog you later, awesome book nerds and catch me at a book store while I blitz some books for Showalter.

Through the Zombie Glass - Gena Showalter (The White Rabbit Chronicles #2)

Published Date: September 24, 2013
Genre: Young Adult/Paranormal
Synopsis: Zombies stalk the night. Forget blood and brains. These monsters hunger for human souls. Sadly, they've got mine...
Alice Bell has lost so much. Family. Friends. A home. She thought she had nothing else to give. She was wrong.
After a new zombie attack, strange things begin to happen to her. Mirrors come to life, and the whispers of the dead assault her ears. But the worst? A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do very wicked things.
She's never needed her team of zombie slayers more, but ultra bad-boy Cole Holland, the leader and her boyfriend, suddenly withdraws from her...from everyone. Now, with her best friend Kat at her side, Ali must kill the zombies, uncover Cole's secret and learn to fight the darkness.
But the clock is ticking...and if she fails at a single task, they're all doomed.

Holy... First off... Just looking at this cover, I just start giggling. I loved the first cover because it was artistically done. This one. It looks like the Wayans brothers' dressing up and coming back for a White Chicks 2. Please do not try to argue that you cannot see them in this. Because I mean come on. It is right there.

Anyways, onto my review. You just keep falling in love with Alice's personality. She's snarky, smart, and downright strong. However, as she goes out for a nice night to the football game with her friends because she needed to get out of the house, the stench of rot hits her nose and she runs out of there to protect her friends.

Unfortunately... There are hordes of zombies and you are amazed by the mass that has grown. Well, not that surprised. As her slayer friends and her are fighting them off, her old friend, Justin is bitten and it just goes downhill from there. She runs over to go and check on him and bam. She gets bitten as well by him. Not what you were expecting, right?

It sounds so awesome though considering that takes a bit from World War Z because you never know how long it takes for the infection to spread to your spirit and give you the endless hunger. But you're going to have to read this book to know what goes on next.

Onto my review. This book leads through many emotions and some of them were not to great. Alice, love her to death for her big heart no matter what she goes through, again goes through several more tragedies. All the more, heartbreaking.

I am going to go ahead and rate this a good 4 out of 5 stars and I am only deducting a star off for making me sob during this book. I absolutely hate death and considering I was in class when it happened, not a good choice, Showalter.

This most definitely can be put on your TBR list because I mean, come on, it's Gena Showalter.

Alright, blog you later, awesome book nerds and I will be back tonight with The Queen of Zombie Hearts and tomorrow morning with A Mad Zombie Party [Just ranting about how excited I am for the book].

Alice in Zombieland - Gena Showalter (The White Rabbit Chronicles #1)

Published Date: September 25, 2012

Let's mesh Alice in Wonderland meets Zombieland with a fresh take on zombies in general. I was expecting a total sap story but I love Alice and her snarky personality. She was inside a prison... Of her own home. No going out at night. No going to the cemetery. School and back. But she had her little eight-year old sister to cherish and love. Her mother is her mother: Caring, sweet, loving. Her father is a drunk and raves on and on about the monsters that he sees.

Her birthday was the day that she would never forget. She loses everything. All because she pestered her mother about going to see Emma's recital. She blames herself and sinks back into a dark hole. Until she meets Kat. True story.

Her life slowly starts to brighten up until she meets Cole. She melts for his 6 foot 3 muscular build and his dreamy violet eyes. She then learns from him that yes, the monsters that her father raved about and she hated him for it, were actually real even if she thought they were hallucinations.

I even fell for Cole... And Frosty and Bronx, and so on because hell. They are all attractive. So please add them onto my book boyfriends list.

Now off with their bloody heads.

I am going to have to rate this book a great 5 out of 5 stars because I fell in love with Gena Showalter's books. This is a must-read and I am usually not big on the paranormal until Cassandra Clare and Gena Showalter. People have to put this series on their TBR list. Or just drop everything and read it now.

Blog you in about 10 minutes considering I will be coming back for Through the Zombie Glass.

The Green Inferno (Movie Review)

Let me just say this, if you want the blood and gore. You won't get it here. Yeah, there were some parts that made you cringe or gag. Eli Roth kept it PG-13 and I think the only reason why I believe it was rated as R was because you saw a penis here and there, touching, and boobs. Can't see the boobs unless you're over 17, right?

Release Date: September 25, 2015
Genre: Horror
Synopsis:
New York college student Justine (Lorenza Izzo), a lawyer's daughter, meets a student activist named Alejandro (Ariel Levy) when he goes on a hunger strike on behalf of underpaid janitors. Smitten, Justine agrees to help Alejandro undertake his next project: to save the Amazon. She soon learns to regret her decision when their plane crashes in the Peruvian jungle and she and the rest of their group are taken captive by a tribe of hungry cannibals.

One of the movies that I will never add to my horror movie collection nor would ever watch it again if someone does have the audacity to buy it. I am not going to lie... I learned about the cannibalistic tribe but honestly they mistook the group to be part of the group that was destroying their homes.

I will save you the $11 of watching it and give you what I got in.

College freshman wants to do something for the world, finds an activist group, flies to the Amazon, group chains themselves to trees, main girl experiences near-death experience, on plane ride back home, plane breaks down and crashes, tribe ambushes them, eaten one by one. Main girl survives. Of course she does. Of course she does!

I was expecting gore. I was expecting hardcore cannibalism but honestly, I either cringed at the screaming or I was laughing at the movie. There was a sweet cannibal kid that felt that what they were doing was wrong... Guess what he does?

There was a funny part that does involve hyper-ness and the munchies... Can you guess what happens? Yeah, you just got the idea. I was laughing a bit to hard at that scene...

This movie was not god-awful but it wasn't a 5 out of 5 stars. We are going to go ahead and be generous and rate this movie a 2.7 stars out of 5. Do not and I warn... Do not spend money to watch this.

Alright, I will blog you later, awesome nerds and I will be back with The White Rabbit Chronicles series by Gena Showalter in order to celebrate her upcoming book to be released on the 29th of September and Forever with You - Jennifer L. Armentrout, also being released on the 29th of September.

ARC: Perfect - Vincent Morrone (The New Human #1)

Well first off, if you do not know what an ARC is, it is an Advanced Reading Copy provided either by the author or the publisher. I recently joined an awesome Facebook group that helps writers' come together and talk with one another.

The amazing Vincent Morrone has provided me with the first book in his new series: The New Human series, Perfect.
Expected Publication: October 16, 2015
Genre: Young Adult/Sci-Fi

Synopsis: Gage Hughes was left on the doorstep of his adoptive family when he was just 4 years old, with instructions to keep his superhuman abilities a secret. At 17 years old, he's able to bench press a tractor, move objects with his mind and leap over 60 foot trees. He's hidden in plain sight as a nerd who can't cross a room without tripping. (Although it's not as much of an act as you would think.) He's also completely in love with Allie Newfield, who has no idea who or what Gage is. She only knows that he’s her personal goof.

Gage is trying to get the nerve up to ask her to the school dance when Lucas Black rides into town. With his Nordic God/Rock Star looks, his cool car and his bad boy attitude, Lucas seems to have taken an interest in Allie.

Soon, Gage discovers someone is stalking Allie, someone who is as powerful as himself, if not more so. He thinks it might be Lucas, but Lucas isn't there to hurt Allie or her family. He came to Perfection for one reason only.

To kill Gage.

Let's follow awkward Gage Hughes into his life trying to fit in high school. This story was a very cute and goofy one. I mean it's an awkward kid that has liked the girl... Correction, the prettiest girls that he has ever met. I can see a little something-something in the future because just from the beginning of the book, you find out that Gage was protecting Allie in every aspect even if she did not realize what he was. All he wants is her happiness but as long as she is in his life.

This is one of the most cliché books that I have ever read but it never seems to get old because I am always 'AWWW-ing' at every other part. But on the others, it had my heart breaking or jumping at the new unexpected thing.

Let's meet the main characters that show their POV:

Allie is funny, she's brave, pretty, and smart. Torn between two guys.

Lucas is hot and conceited but doesn't he know it, falling in love with a girl because of his mysterious connection with her.

Gage is a pink-turning goofball that has loved a girl since he first saved her.

I mean, cue the cliché high school story. Goofy kid has feelings for one of the prettiest and sweetest girls in school. Cue the bad boy the moves into town. Cue all of the girls to go gaga over him. Cue the adventures. Cue the romance. Cue the heartbreak. Cue the suspenseful ending.

Chapter 28 really got me. I have to admit, I almost threw my computer across the room to think that would actually happen. Good job, Mr. Morrone. You truly got me on all levels that satisfied my needs. Slight sci-fi, romance, adventurous, and hell of a lot of twists and turns that made me never want to pay attention in class but rather on the book.

I will rate this a 4.5 stars. I loved the book and do think that you should check it out. However, if you are not into the extreme sci-fi/cliché high school story then I don't think the book is for you. I enjoyed it throughly however.

Cheers to the future publication of Perfect because that is truly what this book is.

Go ahead and pre-order this book if you are not afraid of giving something new a try: Perfect - Vincent Morrone

Blog you later, awesome book nerds and this week Forever with You - Jennifer L. Armentrout and A Mad Zombie Party - Gena Showalter is being released on the 29th of September.

Beautiful Darkness - Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (Caster Chronicles #2)

Published Date: October 12, 2010
Genre: Fantasy/Young Adult
Synopsis: Ethan Wate used to think of Gatlin, the small Southern town he had always called home, as a place where nothing ever changed. Then he met mysterious newcomer Lena Duchannes, who revealed a secret world that had been hidden in plain sight all along. A Gatlin that harbored ancient secrets beneath its moss-covered oaks and cracked sidewalks. A Gatlin where a curse has marked Lena's family of powerful Supernaturals for generations. A Gatlin where impossible, magical, life-altering events happen.

Sometimes life-ending.

Together they can face anything Gatlin throws at them, but after suffering a tragic loss, Lena starts to pull away, keeping secrets that test their relationship. And now that Ethan's eyes have been opened to the darker side of Gatlin, there's no going back. Haunted by strange visions only he can see, Ethan is pulled deeper into his town's tangled history and finds himself caught up in the dangerous network of underground passageways endlessly crisscrossing the South, where nothing is as it seems.

I am absolutely enamored with Ethan Wate because who wouldn't want a boyfriend that's obsessed with protecting you? I was heartbroken as I was reading about Lena and Ethan's relationship and how it progressed because... Well you get the gist of it and I don't really like spoilers unless if I want to save you guys the time from reading this and well, this is a must-read.

It was one of those books that was really hard to read at first because it just was not your style but then as son as you get into the third chapter, you realize that you're almost halfway through the book and the sun is coming up. Exhausted, you want to sleep for a couple hours before work but that didn't happen. It had me questions what sleep was.

This new character that is going to be introduced in this book will have you falling hard just from his looks but not his dick-headed personality. Now personally, another new character is just coming in and your head will spinning with the words of 'WTF, Ethan.' 'You can't do that.' 'You can't call her that.' But then again, I said the same thing about Lena throughout the novel. There were some parts that just made me slam my book and almost, I said almost, chuck it at the wall and crack the plaster. One of the heaviest books that I have read.

Also the plot twist was just mind-blowing and the revelation just hits you like a couple of bricks.

So I am going to rate this book a good 4 out 5 stars because there were some parts of this book that were just distasteful and you cannot do anything about it. It's published and done with. I think that I am going to go ahead and read the next book in the series and see where we are from there.

The next book will hopefully be Forever with You - Jennifer L. Armentrout and the White Rabbit Chronicles - Gena Showalter.

By this weekend, I am going to be a little helper for Ms. Gena Showalter and storm the bookstores and stick her books with some stickers. Maybe you'll see one of us helpers storming the stores.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds and I will be back with The Prisoner of Cell 25 - Richard Paul Evans.

Maze Runner: Scorch Trials (Movie Review)

Okay, any excuse to see Dylan O'Brien on screen or in person... I would most definitely use that money. He is just a beautiful man. I mean, look at his face.
And this one...

Oh and this one...

He is a definition of perfect. Actor and singer. And he's tall. Tall. Come on now, if you're not in love with him, there is something wrong with you.

Now here is the review to Scorch Trials!

Released Date: September 18, 2015
Genre: Dystopian/Thriller

Synopsis:
Transported to a remote fortified outpost, Thomas and his fellow teenage Gladers find themselves in trouble after uncovering a diabolical plot from the mysterious and powerful organization WCKD. With help from a new ally, the Gladers stage a daring escape into the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with dangerous obstacles and crawling with the virus-infected Cranks. The Gladers only hope may be to find the Right Hand, a group of resistance fighters who can help them battle WCKD.

Again, like I said, Dylan O'Brien is just amazing and he makes the series even better to watch because if you have some eye candy during a dystopian-anything... It just makes it all better especially if he makes you feel safe.  Now personally, he made the movie even better.

I have never watched the first movie... I know judge me now for I have wronged this movie. I now need to read the series and fall in love with the idea that Dylan O'Brien is Thomas.

I loved the thrilling parts where it made me jump and cringe. I definitely was not expecting the freaks of nature that have the same symptoms of a zombie apocalypse.

Will you please give O'Brien a round of applause? Even if I did not watch the first movie, I felt an immediate connection with the characters, although I was a bit confused at first as to what was going on. But I think i caught on pretty well. Also give a round of applause to Wes Ball, the director. He did such a fantastic job with both movies.

I rate this movie a good 4.7 stars out of 5. I wish that I could rate it more but it was an interesting ending. Aforementioned, it was almost as if it was Divergent met The Walking Dead. Not like either of those movies or shows were awful but it was an interesting mix. Honestly though, it made me want to read the books.

I will blog you later however. Goodnight!

The Perfect Guy (Movie Review)

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

Read at your own risk.

Seriously. Spoilers.
Released Date: September 11, 2015
Genre: Thriller/Suspense

Synopsis: With a fulfilling career and a loving relationship, lobbyist Leah Vaughn (Sanaa Lathan) seems to have it all. Things come crashing down when Dave, her long-term boyfriend, questions her future plans for marriage and a family. The resulting breakup leaves Leah heartbroken, until she meets the charming and handsome Carter Duncan (Michael Ealy). Soon, the budding romance turns dangerous as Carter reveals his volatile nature, forcing Leah to turn the tables on the man she thought was Mr. Right.

Okay, let's start off with the fact that Leah Vaughn was in a loving relationship. The beginning of the movie started off well. She was successful and when she goes into that coffee shop, things go downhill really fast especially after her relationship falls apart when she questions her boyfriend as to why he hasn't proposed because she wants to be young and a mother. But he does not want that. Obviously, let's break up because things didn't go your way and you weren't understanding.

You're at a bar, waiting for your friend and friend cancels out of the blue while drunk guy just wants to stick his no-no area into yours.  The guy from the coffee shop that gave you his drink because you guys ordered the same thing, saves your butt from the drunk guy by being very threatening.  Like, whatever man.

Then you ask him to dinner because you're twice in his debt. After a couple months of dating, he meets your parents. He tells you that he loves you. His personality switches, well, like a switch. The slightest things can switch it and a big one of them is getting back with your ex-boyfriend after breaking up with this guy.

This guy is supposedly intelligent and yet, he has no idea that you are prepared to go down fighting. Maybe he's met some resistance before from the ladies but maybe he hasn't. The only part that I thoroughly enjoyed was when the detective was questioning him on several scenes. It is the only part that I found realistic.

Oh yeah, the cat scene where he cat-naps her cat is just stupid. He looks like one of the those villains in superhero movies that always have the swiveling chair, fluffy white cat in their arms, and sits in front of the computer screens. All while petting cat. Like, what? What was the point of taking the cat? If you're going to do something evil or scary. Get rid of it. Don't take it and care for it.

I am a firm believer that there is NO SUCH THING as the perfect guy. He's going to have some part of himself that is going to drive you insane just as it did for Leah. Also, the 'I love you' part was just unrealistic to me because I think that it takes longer than a couple months to know if you love someone.

If I knew this going into the movie, I would not have wasted $8 on it to watch it. I was really looking forward to being thrilled in this movie, for my heart to start beating fast at scenes but nope. I didn't get any of that. I can never watch this movie again and it has no right to be in my movie library.

Obviously, I wasn't very happy with this movie but I will say that I rate this movie a 1.8 out of 5 stars.

Alright, I will blog you later, awesome nerds.

Happy Release Date for Dylan O'Brien and the Scorch Trials! I cannot wait to drink in your beautiful face.

The Maze Runner and Scorch Trials review will be out later this week.

Cover Reveal: Oblivion - Jennifer L. Armentrout (Lux #1.5)

Release Date: December 1, 2015
Genre: Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Young Adult
Synopsis: Experience the epic love story of OBSIDIAN as told by its hero, Daemon Black…

I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door, there was going to be trouble. Lots of it.

And trouble’s the last thing I need, since I’m not exactly from around here. My people arrived on Earth from Lux, a planet thirteen billion light years away. Plus, if there’s one thing I know, it’s that humans can’t be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. ‘Cuz they are.

But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can't stop myself from wanting her—or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and I’m the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. So this one simple girl…she can mean the end for us. Because the Luxen have an even bigger enemy—the Arum, and I need to stay on my game.

Falling for Katy—a human—won't just place her in danger. It could get us all killed, and that’s one thing I’ll never let happen...

Look at that beautiful cover and that drinkable man. Pepe Toth is just a beautiful man in general and the object of my affection. Especially when I imagine him as I am reading the LUX novels.

Author's Note:
Oblivion would've been a massive book, coming in over 1300 pages which made putting the book in print very difficult and not very cost friendly to the readers, but Entangled Teen and I knew that some of you would want Oblivion in print, a copy that you can hold in your hands.
So Oblivion will be available in print for those who wish to have a physical copy. The print copy will be Obsidian told in Daemon’s POV, and the digital version will include Obsidian POV, plus two bonus books (Onyx and Opal) in Daemon’s POV.
The Print version will be available at online retailers and is mainly in place for those who want a print copy. You do not have to buy both. If you just want to read the first three books in Daemon's POV, then the digital book is for you. If you do end up purchasing both versions, you’ll be paying roughly $17-$18 combined for what basically is three books, which still is a heck of a steal.
The pre-order links are here at: Jennifer L. Armentrout's Page.
As the date gets closer, I hope to review all of the books and make you fall in love with Daemon because I mean he makes you want to have half-alien babies.
Also guess what? The move trailer for The 5th Wave - Rick Yancey is out and you can go watch it here: The 5th Wave - Rick Yancy (Movie Trailer).

Voice of Gods - Eleanor Herman (Blood of Gods and Royals #.5)

I am all for Greek Gods and the Greek Life. I have been obsessed with it since Aimeé Carter's Goddess Test series and yet none of them seem to amount to them until I ran into Jennifer L. Armentrout's Covenant series. Now, I am jumping into the Blood of Gods and Royals series by Eleanor Herman.
Published Date: July 15, 2015
Genre: Fantasy/Young Adult/Historical Fiction
Synopsis: As the end of an age approaches, gods whisper horrors, families scheme for power, and one woman may hold the secret to a lost legacy.

At 19, Ada of Caria yearns to take the Snake Blood throne from her mad older siblings—and seeks the help of a young orphaned girl named Helen, the first True Oracle to have walked the earth in more than three hundred years.

Helen may be able to channel the voice of the gods, but she hates her gift, and will do anything to get rid of it—even lie to her best friend, Myrtale, the priestess-princess of Epirus who is destined to marry King Philip II of Macedon even though she loves another. And in the shadows lurks a handsome green-eyed stranger who has more at stake—and more to lose—than anyone could possibly imagine.Amid jealousy and heartbreak, torrid affairs and secret rendezvous, it is spoken by the gods that either Helen or Myrtale —newly named Olympias— will carry the destiny of the known world within her womb.
The prequel to LEGACY OF KINGS, VOICE OF GODS traces the intricate web of love and betrayal that led up to the birth of history’s most powerful leader, Alexander the Great.

I liked the series prequel enough to rate this a good 3.8 stars out of 5 but I only took off 1.2 points due to the fact that it was a confusing plot line.

I really do like Helen because she fights her urges and saddness that she will never be a mother nonetheless a virgin. She kisses men with passion but very reserved so at the end of the book, I was a bit appalled as to what happened to her.

Myrtle/some p-name (I think)/Olympias, you are one evil b%$&@! just because something just not go your way and when you hear of the prophecy, it gave you no right to give direct order considering that you are not his only wife. You only care about yourself and when your 'friend' decided to confide in you, you just would not shut up about your own love life. Yes, you have men falling at your feet. Yes, you are having a child. Yes, you are having an affair. I just do not like you right now. Understand that much.

Ada, okay. Princess. Snake-Blood. Hates her brother and sister's incest marriage. Her favorite brother killed in front of her. I like her but just because again something does not go your way, it gives you no right to be upset considering that certain someone just saved your arse from being burned to oblivion.

K.

Rant is over.
