Taken By Two - Sam J.D. Hunt

Published Date: March 6, 2016
Genre: Erotica
Synopsis: Taken by two enigmatic men, Penelope Sedgewick overcomes demons from the past to learn to thrive in a thrilling new dangerous world. When the missing billionaire Nathaniel Slater reappears from oblivion and kidnaps her, she’s sure his dark friend, Rex Renton, is the true one to fear. The nature of their close relationship intrigues her, and as the three are thrown together in a fight for their lives, the sizzling chemistry between them explodes with more heat than the exotic jungle Rex calls home. As each of the unlikely lovers seek redemption for past sins, the three-way love between them grows into an unbreakable bond.

MMF/Bi/Ménage/HEA/M/M with heroine involved only

Mature adult readers only; explicit sexual content and frequent profane language. Fun erotic adventure, not dark, not BDSM. This is a THREE way love story (NOT a love triangle).

Sam and I had the funniest conversation (well I thought it was funny) about her book because she warned me that this wasn't the typical love story. It was the three way story and in no way in hell a stupid love triangle. Not that I am bashing on love triangles but if it is like Twilight, I think we have a problem.
She's not good at fitting into genres and that has never hit the mark so accurately. I don't think that I have ever really enjoyed a book like this because when you think of a threesome, you often think of a girl taken from both ends, which does happen as a forewarning. But if you aren't okay with the M/M romances, this is not the book for you.

I know that I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it can be said that it was hot and sexy. Sam does a fantastic job at creating a hard to breach topic into a nice one where you can think of karma sutra. Because this is not your typical romance. To me, it wasn't a 5 star read but I think it was more or less a 4.2 out of 5 stars.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds.
