Synopsis: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.
My god... This book. It was the feels. It hit me right in the heart and it really made me want to write down feelings that I never got to when it came to crushes. Lara Jean really knows how to get to the heart of boys. Whether if they were when she was a kid to now, her heart completely belonged to those boys at the time.
Now that only one boy has stuck by her side since she crushed on him, she absolutely became enamored with him. Her stomach is a butterfly garden. Her heart a pounding drum.
But.
All of that is ripped away when her sister brings home that boy. Smile and don't cry. Stiffen that upper lip. I truly felt heartbroken because of the fact she deserved him. Though both didn't know it at the time, they did deserve each other.
However, as time passed. He became more of an older brother figure to her. She said her goodbyes. The way she says goodbyes are through letters. She stashes them away so that there will be no evidence of it. Only in her heart and mind.
But someone knew about them and now, her secrets are out. Secrets that were never meant to be out.
Needless to say, I fell in love with the story. I read it within a day but I was sad to finish it. It truly was a beautiful story that brought tears to my eyes.
Dear The Boy I Loved Before and Fell in Love with All Over Again...
God. Breath-taking romance and I loved every moment of it. This is a story that I can rate a good 4.6 out of 5 stars. Jenny Han knew how to blow me away with her first book.
