ARC: Almost Wrong - Aubrey Parker

Published Date: October 11, 2016
Genre: Romance
Synopsis: I’ve always hated Hunter Altman.
I hated him at first sight, in my teens, when my mother met his worthless father.
I hated when Bill moved in with us, dragging Hunter like bad baggage.
I hated when Mom and Bill made it official, turning the delinquent a-hole in the next room into my brand-new stepbrother.
I hated when I fell for Hunter, and Hunter fell for me.
It killed me when he left us behind, shed like dead skin on his way to the top. And now that Hunter is a hotshot music producer on every magazine cover, I hate him even more.
I hate his money. I hate his fancy toys. I hate that he thinks he owns me … or worse, that he OWES me.
I hate that he’s back. That he’s soiled our ghetto with his pristine suit, his fancy black limousine.
My heart hurts, I hate him so much. And it scares me that my heart might keep loving him in the end, beneath it all.

HAPPY EFFING BIRTHDAY TO AUBREY PARKER AND HIS NEW RELEASE! I knew I was going to fall in love with Hunter's charismatic ways. It was kind of impossible not too. HUNTER ALTMAN is definitely up there for my book boyfriend ways and I am just not caring for anyone else in the world. Angela is one of the most surprising characters that I have met.

This story took a turn for the better? I liked the concept behind this. Rags to riches. Most trillionaire men are like that and it just makes them that much hotter. Like damn, Mr. Parker. GIVE ME MORE MEN THAT I WILL FLOVE.

5, 5, 5 stars out of 5. Almost Wrong will blow your minds.

Between her father's funeral, stress from work, and her mother's guilt, Lucy White has hit her boiling point. Something's got to give, so she books a room at the exclusive Hotel Indigo spa to let it all go, and leave her worries behind.

Dark and brooding Marco is Indigo's best masseur -- always in demand, always under pressure to "make the ladies feel good." According to the boss, Marco's pay depends on talented hands and loose morals, but lately Marco has had enough. He'll take one last high-paying client, then leave his tired past behind.

ARC: Gagged - Aubrey Parker

Published Date: May 17, 2016
Genre: Erotic
Synopsis: “I won’t do anything you don’t want me to do,” Caspian tells me. “I’ll just force you to do as you wish.”
I’ve always been a good girl. Partly by choice, partly because of my mother’s shame and my father’s belt.
Caspian White is strong. Handsome. Powerful. Frightening. The world knows his name, envies his wealth, suspects his kinks, and fears his wrath.
I’ve kept myself pure, and that’s drawn Caspian to me like a predator to prey.
I don’t want to do what he wants me to. I just want to conclude my business with Caspian and go.
But Caspian seems to have been watching me for a while. I’m a target, and he knows me too well.
I’m afraid he’ll force me to do things I’ll regret … and that if he does, my shameful half will enjoy it.

From light to darkness, Aubrey Parker brings us another thrilling story from Inferno Falls and it is sexy, dark, and beautiful. When we first met Caspian, he was a coldhearted man with a dark past. Light shines through as Aurora squirms her way into his life. More like shouts but I loved every single moment that Aubrey brought with this book.

This is a spin off of Trevor's Harem but it doesn't steer away from the sexiness.

Everyone in this story has a gag in their life. Literally and figuratively. But as these characters break through their bondage, you will fall in love with their story. Be warned that there are situations that will make you feel uncomfortable but Aubrey can make you feel situated enough to continue the story. Though I didn't like the minor characters at all, Aurora and Caspian has my heart from the Inferno Falls.

Will you take the chance to get rid of your bonds by finding your light to your darkness?

ARC: Burning Ultimatum - Aubrey Parker (Trevor's Harem #4)

Published Date: March 15, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis: With Trevor’s contest at its end, it’d be easy to say we’re three against one. And yet I’ve never felt so alone.

My heart is torn, twisted, ripped. I’m alternately hot and cold. I dream vivid dreams, no longer sure if they’re fantasy or reality.

There’s a new player in the game. He’s tall, broad, beautiful, and intimidating. Everyone is afraid of him, even the company. I’m told he has a secret, and that I’m its subject. And someone else has a secret, too — from our mystery man, and god help us if he learns it.

Everyone is loyal to something or someone in this place — though it’s seldom what it seems.

I don’t know who’s with me and who’s against me — if I’ll go home with my new protector … or be kept here forever.

I couldn’t possibly be what Eros has combed the world for … can I?

This book definitely had me on my toes. Not even this book but the entire series. Aubrey Parker knows how to grab her readers by the neck, shake them, and then hug them with much love. I keep asking myself, "What is going to happen next?" as I flipped the one page to the next and I just couldn't get enough of this book. It kept me up all night and I had a 8am study group. So thanks Audrey. You're fantastic at this. I couldn't help myself. I told myself just one more chapter. That's it. I ended up finishing it within a couple of days.

Aubrey knows how to keep her readers up until 2 in the morning, asking... No begging for more. I absolutely love Brigit. Though, there were parts in the book where I didn't favor her or her actions. But she still rose above them all. My heart melted as everything unfolded. I want Daniel. I'll take him and hide him away in my room and just hope that everything that he does to Brigit to me. Whoops, just revealed a secret. Or did I? If you actually read the series from the beginning, you would understand why I feel like this.

Other way,
Well it is no secret that I want to have him under my book boyfriends. Not only is this book hot and steamy. It is every girl's fantasy. But after this book, I also fell in love with Trevor as well.. There is an underlying factor of just falling in love with the characters.

I definitely ugly cried so prepare yourselves and make sure you 1-Click this book. So with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, I can say you will enjoy this book.

ARC: The Burning Choice - Aubrey Parker (Trevor's Harem #3)

Published Date: March 1, 2016
Genre: Romance
Synopsis: I’ve been in this billionaire’s game for a month — but something changed when half my competition was eliminated.

It feels less like a contest now … and more like an experiment.

I shouldn’t have made it past the first round. I don’t know how I did; I’m not special like the others. When I ask Daniel, he just tells me it’s complicated. Then he talks about brain chemistry, how love and sex are an addiction. He tells me how wild animals claim mates, and how he’s claimed me.

The stakes are higher.

The competition is fiercer.

I should have been kicked out long ago, but Daniel tells me I might be the needle in the haystack the company has been looking for.

Sometimes I’m afraid of them all, even of Daniel.

But It’s like I’m on a tether. I couldn’t leave if I wanted to.

I can honestly say that I am sad that there is only one more book after this one. Why? I felt an immediate connection with Brigit and Daniel. Their passion was tangible. I loved every single moment up to this book.

Read from book 1 in Trevor's Harem and maybe even the Inferno Falls series because you will fall in love with Aubrey Parker's characters. I'll admit, I even had a hard time getting into the first book of the Inferno Falls series but it started to get better and better as a series. By far, Brigit is my favorite because not only is she compassionate with other people but she is absolutely and tragically heartbreaking. Your heart will break for her in this book. Especially at the end.

Aubrey knows how to keep you on your toes and you will be begging her for more and more of Trevor's Harem. I know I did and you can see me stalk her page under my actual FB name.

My question is, if you were in Brigit's shoes, what would you do? I would definitely smack Daniel as a personal account but secrets are revealed in this book that will make your heart beat faster. Confessions. Secrets. Everything. There is absolutely everything in this book that I loved. It is not the cliche romance but at the same time it is. It had the hot and steamy sexual content that we secretly crave. With a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars, you'll want to continue the series.

More people are eliminated and for the wrong reasons. What will happen in book 4? Stay tuned with me.

ARC: Burning Rivalry - Aubrey Parker (Trevor's Harem #2)

Published Date: February 16, 2016
Genre: Romance
Synopsis: Good girls finish last.
The contest is heating up in every way imaginable.
Bridget still only wants one thing: the money she needs to sort out her life, and the lives of those who depend upon her. And so far, nothing has broken the boundaries of what she’ll do for that money—though that edge keeps pushing further and further each day.
But now, battle lines are being drawn. Kylie versus Bridget, and everyone else falling over themselves to choose a side.
Kylie’s convinced Bridget wants to win, no matter what Bridget tells her to the contrary. And Kylie is determined that the top spot will go to her, and to her alone.
And all the while, Daniel Rice lurks at the edges of the contest—an unforgettable, unforgivable thorn in Bridget’s side, a ghost haunting her steps, a desperate need in her yearning core.
They say the competition can only have one winner. But the way things are going, Bridget isn’t sure there will even be that many.
Choose a side in Inferno Falls’ sexiest adventure yet.

Good girls finish last? That statement is well, an understatement.

Daniel and Bridget are a couple that heats up a room with their hidden passion and lust for each other. How they secretly fight for their love and how Bridget is there by mistake and Daniel is not letting her go without a fight.

He takes the statement of "over my dead body" to a new extreme.

Taking part of Aubrey Parker's new series, Trevor's Harem within the Inferno Fall city limits, you are bound to fall in love with the characters. Out of all of the female characters, Bridget is definitely my favorite because she doesn't take shite from no one. So when her integrity as a person is in danger as well as her relationships with her loved ones, can you blame her for doing the things that she does?

Especially when it comes to Kylie.

Needless to say, I absolutely am revolted with Kylie as a character but I guess every story needs an antagonist and Kylie fits that role nice and snuggly. She drives me insane but I can definitely see her motives and why she does what she does.

As the contest continues, you have to know that the relationships are strained. Secrets are revealed. Love is provoked. This series definitely reminds me of the TV show, The Bachelor. Because I mean, Trevor is the ultimate bachelor.

But is this game truly just a game? Is there something behind the competititon? Keeping me on my toes is definitely a way for me to come back for more and more. So with a hot 4 out of 5 stars, I want more of Trevor's Harem.

ARC: The Burning Offer - Aubrey Parker (Trevor's Harem #1)

Release Date: February 2, 2016
Genre: New Adult
Synopsis: The anonymous invitation that someone slipped under my door promises $1,000. Just for meeting a man downtown, in a public place, no questions asked.
There’s no catch. I’ve checked. A banker vouched for the offer, the funds, and the wealth of my unknown host. I just have to show up. And given what’s gone wrong in Miami, I’m desperate for money.
A man I can’t stand I can make more than I ever imagined, Daniel Rice tells me, if I agree to take part in a competition.
But Daniel doesn’t impress me, with his tailored suit and silver cufflinks, with his big hands and callous manner. If Daniel is Trevor Ross’s right-hand man, I don’t even want to hear about Trevor’s little contest.
It doesn’t matter how rich Trevor is. Daniel is a brute and a bastard, and for some reason he seems to hate me.
Everything in me screams to run away, no matter how much I’m secretly drawn to Daniel.
So why am I still here?
A proposal I can’t believe Daniel is like an addiction, chipping away at my resolve, piece by piece.
Just get into the limousine. Just get on the private plane. Just fly to an airstrip at the foot of the largest, most luxurious estate I’ve ever seen. Just stay the first night, then another. Tell no one where I’ve gone, or why.
At each stage, they offer more money, easing me into the competition with all the other girls.
I just wish it was only the money keeping me here.
An offer I can’t refuse I only need to stay here in this place to make all that I need. I don’t even have to “participate” like the other girls do.
There are twelve of us, but alliances were forming before I arrived. There are the three hired men, each one hotter than the last. There’s Trevor. And Daniel -- who the rules say I must stay away from. But I can’t.
Daniel tells me I’m his, not Trevor’s or anyone else’s. He says he owns me. I hate the way he talks to me. But I can’t resist him, no matter the penalty.
The rules say I can leave whenever I want.
But for some reason, I don’t.
Desperate times call for desperate pleasures.

I immediately fell in love with this book. Words cannot explain how well this book was written.

When I first read Aubrey Parker with The Boss's Daughter, I wasn't impressed very much. But then I read The Forbidden Muse and The Second Chance. I started falling in love with her at every turn that she gave her readers.

The Burning Offer is definitely one of the nittiest and grittiest books that she has ever given me. Though... I fell in love with how I was on my toes. Bridget is one of my favorite characters from The Inferno Falls series but we didn't get much of her throughout the three books.

Now that Trevor's Harem has released, I know that we are going to love her. When Daniel was introduced... Dear Lordy, I think I may need some new panties. I just picture this beautiful creature when I think of him.

When the other men are introduced... Well, I knew that I was going to love this book in general. Oh, holy hot men. They just sound attractive and Daniel, he definitely knows how to drive you crazy. When I was reading this book, I absolutely thought that Trevor is a freak for even thinking of doing this with women but whatever works to find your perfect match.

I finished this book within the day and it is definitely one of those books that you just cannot put down. If you aren't into the whole erotica scene, this book isn't for you. But it is definitely filled with romance. The forbidden kind of course. What's better than that?

Lights, camera, action. Those words can all describe what is going on and what is to happen in this series. I gobbled this book up and I wish it didn't end so soon. Like why, Aubrey? You hook me and then you sink me. I need more of Trevor's Harem so I hope that I can get more soon. Especially in 2016. Maybe next month? I rate this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

ARC: The Second Chance - Aubrey Parker (Inferno Fall #3)

ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review
Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy late book birthday to the amazing Aubrey Parker. I was a bit indecisive about The Boss's Daughter, fell in love with The Forbidden Muse, and now here is The Second Chance.

You get a glimpse of Maya and her daughter in The Forbidden Muse because Maya and Abigail have become friends for the short time she was there. I love when books are stand-alones but I also love the fact that each of these characters also play in each other's lives.
Published Date: November 24, 2015
Genre: Young Adult/ Contemporary Romance
Synopsis: He left her alone. Now he’s back … but too much has changed. Maya grew up with a big heart and even bigger dreams. She never thought she’d end up a single mother spending her whole life where she grew up—the small town of Inferno Falls. But things didn’t work out the way she thought. Grady, her high school love, moved away and left her alone to raise her daughter before the ink dried on their diplomas. Eight years later, Maya’s struggling to make ends meet. And when life gets too tough, she heals the void inside in the only way she knows … whether it’s right or wrong.

But then Grady returns. He’s finally grown homesick after nearly a decade of wandering America, seeing sights and having adventures like Maya always dreamed of—but could never reach for. And Maya holds out hope—more than hope, a need—that Grady is coming home for her, too. It could be just like old times, if she can keep a grip on her bad habits for long enough. Maybe she can finally have the man she’s always wanted, and Mackenzie can have the father she’s always needed.

Many of us get second chances, but never more than three strikes.

Maya makes the dangerous mistake of assuming everything is just the way it was before, despite the years that have passed. When Grady only wants to make sure they’re not moving too quickly, Maya sees rejection and disaster looms. Rather than preserving a perfect memory, it seems the years have changed them both too much, perhaps, to heal the past. But to earn the love and happiness she’s hunted for so long, Maya won’t merely need to learn to accept Grady … and will have to learn to accept herself, first.

This is a STANDALONE book set in Aubrey Parker’s world of Inferno Falls. You’ll probably enjoy reading the Inferno Falls books in order, but you don’t need to.

I think that I am in love. Grady is now on my book boyfriends list. He's sweet and caring but he just wasn't ready for a child. Neither of them were. Having a kid is a choice no matter what age you are. It doesn't force you to grow up early. That's a choice too.

Maya, being lonely, comes to having doubts about life. Not about her daughter. Hell, her daughter is her life. She had to grow up for her daughter. Support herself and her Mackenzie. No one is perfect and yet Maya seems to have that need to be. You can tell that she is very lonely when it comes in the romantic feels because she felt like she couldn't do that with her daughter around. Even feels guilty if she even looks at another man.

God! Ed and Roxanne make me want to reach into the book and or books and slap them silly. I mean, I've heard horror stories about boss's but luckily, I haven't had to experience that with either of my jobs.

Grady, Grady, Grady... He's feeling homesick alright. He's lost so much. But now, he's come to the realization that Maya and Mackenzie are his home.

This book is nitty gritty and it faces some of the biggest problems that couples face... God. I loved every single one of these characters and maybe it is because of the fact that this hits deep in the feels for me. I have known and still know people who face this and their kids are the light of their lives. Some people lucky to have their significant other and others not so much. But that is what this book is all about. Support.

Overcoming hate, guilt, and desperation, they have finally found their way back to each other. One of my favorite sayings of all time is that you can forgive but you can't forget.

I can't say enough praise for this book and in all honesty, this book is much better than the other two. I cannot wait to see what other books of the amazing Aubrey Parker has for us for the Infernal Falls series.

We've met Riley and Brandon, we liked Gavin and Abigail, but we fell in love with Maya and Grady. God, the best in the series so far and I hope she continues their story.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds. I hope that you one click the shit out of this book.

ARC: The Forbidden Muse - Aubrey Parker (Inferno Fall #2)

ARC received from author in exchange for honest review
Published Date: November 10, 2015
Genre: Young Adult/Contemporary Romance
Synopsis: Gavin might just be the music that Abigail yearns for … if only his painful past will allow him to love again.

Just a few months after arriving at Inferno Falls, Abigail can’t see the light at the end of her tunnel. No one can complain about being overworked and broke when the rest of the country’s the same way, but that doesn’t make it any easier when Abigail has to live the story every day. It’s not the work or the meager lifestyle she minds. Abigail wants something more…something inspired…something raw.

Gavin is a grieving musician trying to re-find his inspiration. He’s mourning a crushing loss, and life has become too mundane, too typical, to give him the material for songs that used to come so easy. What could he expect to find in Inferno Falls that would truly stir his heart? After all, he’s been shattered by love too many times to find any comfort in a woman’s arms.

The song begins…

Strings play the moment they meet in Abigail’s section of the Nosh Pit, Inferno Falls’ latest and hippest restaurant, and their pulses thunder like a drumbeat from the moment their eyes touch. Abigail feels a stirring in her heart she never expected, while Gavin goes home to pour his inspiration into music.

But despite their obvious harmony, Gavin’s past won’t let anyone get too close. And after years of heartache, Abigail doesn’t have time for anyone who seems like they’re just playing around. Together they’ll have to learn to sing in chorus, or let the stage lights fade and bow out of each other’s lives for good.

Gavin and Abigail both have a chapter that they don't want to read from their lives. But let's be honest, everyone has a story that they don't want to read to anyone. They skirt around each other and never really met until Abby picks up another shift at her second job. There she meets the mysterious Gavin and they clique. I mean, everyone who has worked in a restaurant as a waitress/waiter have the most patience that I've seen.

Who here has suffered through someone saying 'Choose for me' or 'I don't want this, this, or this'. Like come on. Anyways, let's get down to the nitty gritty. Gavin lost two of the most important people in his life and he just doesn't want to open up anymore. Abigail has run away from home and well she's got some past where if anyone experiences it, they question everything and become anxious about the most simplest situations. She was cheated on and cut off from her parents. Working two jobs is no joke so I give Abby lots of props for doing so.

Okay, I had some really good quotes but of course, it got deleted. It made me want to cry. I wanted to cry in this book and that doesn't happen for me. When I read these books again, I will want to give you these quotes. But for now, let's just say that you will want to read this book.

I FOUND THEM!

"The first verse tells the story of a boy and a girl who fall in love. Who meet tragedy. And how much it hurts...The second verse tells how the boy's world ends along with the girl's. How he tries to face the world and can't. How it's all pointless. How every day is another floor on an endless downward spiral...The third verse is about a new girl. A new love. And about moving on, sweet on the tongue to soften the bitter."

After Brandon and Riley's story, I was kind of skeptical to say the least to continue the story but Aubrey Parker has so much potential and so when I read Gavin and Abigail's story, my heart just wrung out. It writhed. It hurts. Maybe because it hit so close to home.

This is the story of a girl. This is the story of a boy. This has tragedy. This has romance. It's new beginnings. It's old problems. But I loved it nonetheless.

I rate The Forbidden Muse a 4 out of 5 stars and hope to read The Second Chance, the third book in her series.

Awake in a Sweet Unrest - Rowena Tisdale

Published Date: August 31, 2015
Genre: Erotic Fiction
Synopsis: Beautiful, single mother Sara Broussard finds herself torn between her love for two men. Eric Leland, the sexy journalist who offers her everything - love, stability, and a future. Nathan Remington, a ruthless politician who offers nothing, but awakens in Sara a primitive passion that only he can satisfy. Set against the backdrop of a corrupt city, Sara learns harsh lessons about love and lust as she is swept up in a journey of emotion and self discovery. Hot guys, steamy sex, and a story that will leave you panting for more!

Hot guys, check. Steamy sex, check. Leave me panting? Blank.

Yeah, it takes place in a corrupt city and you don't know how corrupt it is until Sara meets Nathan. But first off, I would like to say that even though it is reiterated within the book that Sara isn't a whore... I just cannot see how she isn't after Eric and her are over.

Her and Eric were the sweet, loving type. Of course, I'm all for them. By part two in the book, I'm just annoyed with Sara... I'm sorry to say that but she's just really, really, really slutty... I mean, her boyfriend was late for two hours and you immediately hook up with a guy? Like come on now... I'm not a fan of that at all.  HER BOYFRIEND WAS LATE TO A GATHERING AND SHE STRAYS!

Would a person really do that if there was an opportunity like that? It just seems highly unlikely but as I am healing from a broken heart of a similar scenario, I can see that.

Now I think that this book started off really well. It had me going 'AWWW' in my head until part deux. That's French for two. ;) But honestly, I understand that she's lonely but she had Eric and honestly, I thought that was satisfying enough. She had her son. Her best friend. It wasn't like she was a hermit.

In all honestly, I think that I am going to rate this book a 3 out of 5 stars unless if she realizes that she made a mistake running away from Eric in a sequel.

The formatting was also another reasoning why this book was not so high on my list. At first, I thought that the first part was in Eric's POV, the second in Nathan's, and lastly, in Sara's. But it was all in Sara's POV but there were points where I got confused because suddenly it would be in Gab's POV but technically Sara's which was completely confusing because it would give thoughts of other people and even when Sara was turned away or not looking. It was just a bit strange is all...

The book does end with a bit of a cliffhanger so hopefully there is something in the future that clears everything up and make me rate it higher. I see a lot of potential for Rowena Tisdale in the future and I look forward to reading some more of her things if she decides to make more.

Anyways, blog you later, awesome book nerds and I will be back with The Forbidden Muse - Aubrey Parker.

ARC: The Boss's Daughter - Aubrey Parker (Inferno Fall #1)

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review
Release Date: October 27, 2015
Genre: Young Adult/Contemporary Romance
Synopsis: The first book in the Inferno Falls series, from your new favorite romance author.

Ever since losing her mother as a girl, Riley James has lived for her father, Mason. The loss has nearly consumed them both, and they’ve only survived it together. But while Mason is moving into his twilight years, Riley is still young and ready for her life to begin. Her father’s shared grief — once the warm embrace she needed — now feels like a set of shackles that are starting to chafe.

Brandon Grant is smack dab in the middle of his life’s best years. So far they’ve been devoted to the construction company where he’s dedicated the last several years. A product of the foster care system, Brandon comes from a dark enough past that he can never let anyone get too close — except his boss, Mason James, who steps into the void his father was never there to fill. After years of back breaking work, Brandon is finally about to land the promotion he’s always wanted. Soon, he’ll finally start living for himself, and find someone to share in the happiness he’s sure to earn … eventually.

But love can’t always wait …

Just as Brandon is being groomed for the position, he meets the sweetest, most charming, and electrifying girl he’s ever seen — and realizes, with the crushing, sinking knowledge that she’s Riley James, the boss’s daughter.

While Riley might be ready to move on, her father can’t, and he makes it abundantly clear that Brandon’s not to go near her. As he spends more and more time in the office, preparing to become the company’s big man, he clocks more time with Riley. Soon, their spark ignites to inferno.

Riley and Brandon must decide if their happiness still means what they’ve always thought, or if they’ve finally found the person who can turn their lives into something more.

Yeah, yeah, that's a long ass synopsis and long ass genre. Well here is my honest review. I think that this book has a lot of potential to become a best seller. It's not overly graphic but it could have a little more detail.

Riley, the boss's daughter, is coming home from college and very close with her father because of the fact that she lost her mother at such a young age. Brandon, a hard-worker and reaching for the best as well as being a caretaker for his sister, Bridget. By the 20th-something chapter, their sexual tension is finally relieved and now, cue the dick-ness from Brandon because obviously nothing can happen between the boss's prodigy and the boss's daughter.

This quote really bothered me because it seemed a bit contradicting for me... "I leave the truck running just in case the battery decides to die...so I make sure to lock the doors and hang onto the key..."

If I am not mistaken... I think the key is needed inside the ignition to keep it running, yes?

Anyways, that rant is over.

Well now that I finished the book, the above quote just needs to add that he took his APARTMENT key inside, not the car key. But you know, semantics. Aubrey Parker has a lot going for her with these series, definitely add in more detail. I don't know if I would consider this a New Adult book although there are some disruptions that make me want to put that in the genre.

You will constantly want to smack your head against the table because of the fact that even though Riley wants to be noticed for how smart she is not for who she is, she sure doesn't act like it by acting bratty towards Brandon. Maybe that is why he thought she was so attractive was because she put up a fight with him. As his sister said, 'You guys are just like kids'.

Honestly, I will rate this a 3.2 out of 5 stars. I can sense a lot of potential in Aubrey Parker and the Inferno Fall series so I will definitely read the next two in the series.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds.
