Review: Billionaire bad boys from Carly Phillips? Sign me up. 

Once I opened this book, I just couldn't put it down. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? No, I definitely do not think that this is the worst thing possible because this book really will steal your mind. 

So Carly Phillips does it again and brings your wildest fantasies that is explosive both inside your body and on the outside, with the words that come into play. Plus, the billionaire aspect of growing up in hardships really has come into play since Fifty Shades... Or is it before that. 

Anyways, be prepared to devour this enigmatic book filled with exacting characters that will make your life full again. With a 3.4 out of 5 stars, you should all read this.

Review: I knew right from Dirty Sexy Saint that this was going to be one of my favorite and all time dirty series. Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde have paired up again to bring you Levi's story and you have to be honest, Levi is pretty damn hot. Sinful, sexy, strong. Only some of the words to be used  to describe the youngest Kincaid brother. 

Their story is ultimately heartbreaking but that is what you loved the most about the series. Though it didn't tell much about their lives in the beginning, Levi's book will shine a light on many things. 

With much love and heartbreak for this book, I have to rate this a 4.7 out of 5 stars. Beautifully told, you must read this book.

Where did you come up with the Dare series?

I was looking for a way to write a long series without 12 siblings from one mother… I was also looking for meaty conflict that could sustain those books. The Dare series lets me show how each child reacted to the father’s ultimate betrayal.

What do you like to do on your free time?

I think I’m always working in some way. Internet is a time suck and it’s working even if I’m on Facebook. I love hanging out with my dogs, my husband (not in that order LOL), my girls/daughters. I like to shop. I love makeup so that’s always a fun trip to the mall!

Are the characters based off of anyone that you know? If so, who?

The characters are made up, purely fiction. Although I do believe that just by living life, I learn things that inevitably end up in my writing. I can’t say it’s conscious or that I ever based a character on a real person – except years ago a set of books, Kiss Me If You Can, was loosely based on quirky family/my grandmother.

Review: I think the blurb really captures the entire book's essence. She didn't want to be another conquest of her brother's best friend. Even after lusting after him. Off limits on both ends of the spectrum. 
This is one of those second-chance romances and I think that majority of Carly's book are just that. Do I find them redundant? Sometimes, I do but I can see how this is the artist's work and it is their baby. 
I don't know what is more painful. An insta-love scenario or a second-chance. It is always one or the other with these books and although, I thoroughly enjoyed Dare to Take, and by far, it was my favorite of the series. This is easily 4.5 out of 5 stars because I enjoyed the thrilling take on this book but also grateful for the story including such an amazing twist on things. 

Anyways, blog you later, awesome book nerds.

All Ella had known was that she was doing a favor for her father, helping the stepmother Ella didn't like all that much to begin with. Even at a young age, Ella had been a good judge of character, a better one than her father, obviously, because shortly after Janice had gotten well, she'd left Ella's dad. And both her father and Ella's life had gone downhill from there. Ella shook off the thoughts of her past before she could go deeper and darker, and focused on the pretty jewelry.
She spent some time choosing a thick turquoise bracelet for Avery and a similar one for herself before paying for everything and waiting for the shopkeeper to wrap things up.
Bag in hand, she started back to the hotel, cutting through side streets and looking into the windows of the stores, soaking up the culture along the cobblestone streets before heading back to Miami tomorrow. At least, she still hoped she'd be home. Knowing she couldn't change the outcome, she pushed her worrisome thoughts aside. She'd deal with the situation as it came.
Sweat dampened her neck from the humidity of the island, and she contemplated taking a cab back to the hotel. She reached into her straw bag and pulled out her cell phone to make the call, when, without warning, she felt a hard jerk on her purse.
"What the—?" She spun around, but whomever wanted her purse was quicker.
She barely caught a glimpse of a tall guy with dark hair as he yanked harder, nearly pulling her shoulder out of its socket before slamming her against the nearby building with his other hand.
Her head hit the concrete wall, and spots immediately appeared behind her eyes from the impact. As she struggled not to pass out, the man grabbed her purse, along with her cell phone that had fallen to the ground.
She opened her mouth to scream, but nothing came out. Her legs collapsed beneath her, and she fell to the ground, her head smacking the sidewalk before everything went black.

Review: This book was hands down the best one of the Dirty Sexy series by far. 

Why? 

So much heartbreak occurs within these pages. I like my heart being broken. Fictionally, of course. That's crazy. Why would I want my heart broken in real life? *snort laughs* But I think this book is ultimately the best thing that has happened to me.

It covers some of the strongest and yet tabooed topics within society. Rape. Although, the only thing that bugged the hell out of me was that it unnerved me. I mean... Look at past cases... We constantly define rape as a simple question, "What were you wearing?" or "How were you acting?" 

Sadly... But true. I am officially in tears for this book and people overcome the toughest parts of their lives and finally maneuver their life paths to finally crash and make love. Though, it is not an easy path. 

I loved this book. Go read this.

I don't even have words to explain how beautiful this book was. Not only did it have a strong female MC but it also had the alpha man that we oh so crave. When their eyes meet for the first time, breaths are stolen, anger is ensued, and passion is firing. 

As the words continue to seep into your heart, haunting memories are rushed back. Secrets are kept. Family ties are made stronger.

When I read the first chapter of the book, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. But inn the end as the plot developed, the stronger my love for the book grew. 

Riley is someone that is admirable. She's strong. Beautiful. Fearless. Smart. It's impossible not to fall in love with Ian and Riley's relationship. It grows as the story develops and it gets steamy too. So if you're into this kind of a book, this is the way to go. 

Start with the Dare siblings. You won't be disappointed.

Review: I absolutely loved this book right from the beginning. I first met Carly Phillips through her Dirty Sexy series and I was loving every single moment as the passion and love developed. 

Now I meet the Dare siblings and they just make your heart pound. Not just out of affection but from the affliction between the family. Romance will eventually tear my heart to shreds but I don't mind it because I dared to get to know the siblings. 

Isabelle and Gabriel's romance, there are no words. Just call it epic. With a rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars.

First off, I would like to say, happy book birthday to the Dirty Sexy series and I cannot wait to read the next two, needless to say.

Oh wow, this was my first book from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde and they did not disappoint. I knew what I was getting myself into with the Kincaid brothers. They are all ultimately heart-breaking and swoon worthy. 

I know that after the first Kincaid brothers, I don't think that I could ever go back. I mean, I think that I teared up as I found out more of Clay because of how he is ultimately the protector of the family ever since they were little. 

This book made my night and rest of my morning because this is a one-day read. Simple, sexy, and short. That's all you needed from this book. Other than the fact that Samantha Jamieson can definitely get on your nerves throughout this entire book, you learn to tolerate her because of the fact that Clay looks at her with such loving eyes. You know like how the picture from the Tangled movie where Flynn looks at Rapunzel when they are watching the lantern lights and it's just full of love? Yeah, that's how I felt about this book and the couple. 

The moments are heartfelt and just beautiful and the things that they sacrifice for each other is just amazing. I definitely have unrealistic expectations as to how love and relationships should work out but I am completely fine with that. 

Now personally, I think there were parts that didn't need to be in there but again, not my book and it's not my vision. The ending was a bit funky is all but something that I can work with even though it completely contradicted the entire story.

So again, if you want a good read that will take you a couple hours maximum, this book is definitely for you especially if you love swoon worthy boys and heart breaking stories. I rate this a 4 out of 5 stars.
