Audiobook: 21 Days - Bethany Lopez (Time for Love #2)

They'll discover that a lot can change in 21 days, especially when they decide to give the idea of "friends with benefits" a try. As each day passes, Sasha and TJ become closer than they’ve ever been. Will they be able to go back to being just friends when their days together are up, or will they allow their personal hang-ups to get in the way of what they really cherish most?

This story is meant for readers 18 and older.
This definitely wasn't my favorite audible book of all time but I definitely enjoyed the story. 

Opposites will attract and sparks will fly in this book. 

I would not recommend this audiobook to a friend because the narrator did not portray the characters correctly. So I would rather direct them towards the kindle version rather than the audible due to the fact that I hated how the narrator portrayed Sasha and TJ. Their story is wonderful but the way it was told did not give me the best feeling. 

Another book that might I would compare 21 Days to would be impossible to choose other than the first book in the series. 

Three words best describe Crystle Lee’s voice would be High pitched, fast, unlistenable

There was the moment in the book that particularly moved me when the moment came around that they loved each other.

Audiobook: 8 Weeks - Bethany Lopez (Time For Love #1)

Cal asks Shelly for eight weeks. Eight weeks to convince her that their marriage is worth the fight. Will Shelly be able to trust him again, or will their marriage end the way many others do when faced with opposition… In divorce?

Again, I am no big audiobook fan but the narrator for this novel did a fantastic job at it and I think that my mindset about audiobooks is changing as I listen to Bethany Lopez's Time for Love series. Now let's talk about the book I just listened to.

Shelly and Cal have that impeccable romance that many can only dream of. Their eyes met in high school and they just knew that they were meant to be. For 6 years, they have built their life together and it has been a dream. Until sometime shatters it.

On a side note, I need to get the third book to know what happens with Gabi and Scott.

But let's focus on Cal and Shelly. After one ultimate betrayal that one could never forgive, 8 weeks will pass but will Shelly be able to overlook this devastating incident or will the odds truly be against them? The narrator, Beth Stewart did a fantastic job at letting me read more into the characters rather than having to read it myself and coming up with some voice.

She portrayed the characters with a lot of power.

Audiobook: Will There be Watermelons on Mars - Debbie Manber Kupfer

A collection of three short stories from Debbie Manber Kupfer, author of the P.A.W.S. series.

First off, a huge thank you to Debbie for giving me my first audiobook to review. Due to this, I was able to figure out that I was not a huge fan of the format but I don't mind having something to listen to other than music.

What would you do if you knew the world was ending? Where would you go? Who would you find first? What would you do first? There were plenty of questions that went through my head as I proceeded to listen.

I am going to start off with this book with a notion that it was a cute book. Really cute. I don't think that I can go through another Young Adult book without thinking of this book.

It features doomsday or D-Day as I like to call it. With her cat, she has come to the notion that Jerusalem was not the only city that survived. Regardless of what everyone else was saying, she decides to proceed forward with her friend to find other life forms. 

What if the world never ended when it was supposed to? How disappointing that you gave away your precious belongings? How sad would it be that you gave your body away to some stranger because you said eff it all and go for it, the world is ending!

I was starting to like the book but...

But then, the book switches POV's from Susie to Na'ima and it was hard to comprehend what had just happened due to the fact that I am listening and writing this post at the same time because I would forget about it. 
Scientists are considered to be intelligent. So when they instilled fear into the citizens of the world, it reminded me of the Dec. 2012 scare of when people gave away their life savings and such to others with the fear of the end of the world in mind. 

This book was well written and short but it wasn't my cup of tea. Sorry, Debbie. It just lost my interest and I found myself slowly but surely losing interest in the audiobook. Maybe it was the slight religious feel to it but I understand that In Jerusalem, faith is strong within the city walls. So I am going to go ahead and rate this a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
