Ghostbusters (Movie Review)

Release Date: July 11, 2016
Genre: Fantasy
Synopsis: Paranormal researcher Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy) and physicist Erin Gilbert are trying to prove that ghosts exist in modern society. When strange apparitions appear in Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates turn to engineer Jillian Holtzmann for help. Also joining the team is Patty Tolan, a lifelong New Yorker who knows the city inside and out. Armed with proton packs and plenty of attitude, the four women prepare for an epic battle as more than 1,000 mischievous ghouls descend on Times Square.

To say the least, this movie was well-played and obviously a cute movie. Very feministic if you think about it. Female ghostbusters? Yeah, pretty feministic.

There really isn't much to say about this movie other than that Chris Hemsworth is still deliciously likable in this movie even though he is acting below his intelligence level in book. I am not going to lie to the general public but maybe I am biased on seeing Hemsworth dancing and shirtless and absolutely chic with his glasses.

He would be the only thing to draw me back into watching the movie again but not a movie I would buy or even watch in theaters again.

I laughed a lot in this movie but hey, it was a laughable movie.

Like I said, it was cute with a 3 out of 5 stars.

Blog you later, awesome nerds.
