I am Rowan Kyle Saber. I am RK. I am Rock. Ex-lead-singer for Son of a Jack. Ex-addict, ex-friend, ex-boyfriend, ex-brother… and presently in denial.
Welcome to Grand Lake, Colorado, where all my nightmares started. Welcome to the past. Welcome to the present. Welcome to RK’s fucked up life.
The only thing holding me together is her. But even that might be a lie.
**ARC from Author in exchange for an honest review**
Yes, Julie, yes! This is what I want! This is what I needed!
Julie ROCKed my world with this book. So many devious plots. [You can expect that much from her] Many twists and turns. My head is spinning but I loved every single moment of this book. You'll understand that she knows how to emotionally tug at your heart strings to make you ball your eyes out at 1 AM when you have an 8AM class and come in the classroom sniffling and puffy eyes.
It's that moment when someone asks you if you are okay and then you just ball out crying. The book is not sad. But yet I am. Why? It's over. I don't have any more RK in my life.
It is exactly what readers have hoped for. A tragically put together book that will have you craving one page after another. I absolutely loved every single moment of this and I can honestly say that if you love Julie and her writing, this is a perfect read for you.
If you don't know her, this is also a perfect start to her writing skills.
You want an alpha male? You got it. You want a messed up storyline? You got it. You want to ugly cry in multiple parts of the book? You got it. You want to feel something because you avoid emotion on a daily basis? You got it.
A perfect storyline. A perfect hero. A perfect heroine.
This book was just perfect. I can't think of any more words to describe it. So I guess you'll just have to read this book to find out more about it and fall in love with it like I did.
I'll end with this. Julie, thank you so much for giving me an ARC so that I could experience RK before anyone else. You made me fall in love with tragic stories and I always look forward to a new book of yours every single time that you announce it. Creating RK will bring joy to many people's lives and also bring emotions to the front of their minds.
Yes. I ugly cried. You will too.
So blog you later.
