Shadowhunters: "Malec" (Ep. 12)

Aired Date: March 29, 2016
Genre: Young Adult
Do I hear the wedding bells a ringing? I think that I do but when those not in favor of them marrying, comes up. You'll have a riot on your hands. Why?

Malec is slowly but surely being defined in the episodes and I absolutely love every single moment of their undeniable attraction towards each other. I want what they have but it would suck if they don't work out anymore because of stupid FreeForm.

But hey WHATEVER. Don't follow the book. You'll lose some viewership. I was told they were coming back for the second season and as glad as I am that there will be some eye candy to look at, I am more or less disappointed in the storyline.

As sweet as the wedding is, I wanted to jump in and scream that Lydia is not the one for Alec. But I didn't... Because I lost my attention span.

There was barely any attention regarding this episode and maybe it was because it was the lack of action and it was just weird at seeing the animosity roll of Jace towards Clary.

Poor Simon... Poor, poor, poor, Simon. You can see how his heart is forever stolen by the red-head girl because well, she's her. Though, you can see a difference between how normal Clary and Simon were and how the Shadowworlds has drastically changed them.

Anyways, this is a 2.7 out of 5 stars.

Blog you later, awesome nerds.

Recap: The Institute is in full swing as everyone is preparing for the wedding of Alec and Lydia. Lydia is getting final touches made on her wedding dress, the wedding decorations are set and Isabelle is trying to figure out a way to throw a traditional, mundane bachelor party for her brother – whether he likes it or not. During what should be a time of great celebration for many is far from it as they examine their relationships. Alec is struggling on two sides – his wedding is one of the biggest days in his life and his parabatai should be at his side, yet he and Jace are still at odds. Alec also continues to struggle with his feelings for Magnus, especially when Magnus won’t give up on Alec. And as the Institute is buzzing with romance, Clary is desperate to work things out with Jace, but he is keeping her at arm’s length.
